About
Reclaim is a small ceramics and vintage studio working at the intersection of handmade and found — pieces made carefully, sourced selectively, and chosen for how they live in a space over time.
The ceramics are wheel-thrown and slab-built, finished slowly, and made in quantities that keep them from becoming the thing everyone has. The found pieces are sourced with the same eye — estate sales, markets, the occasional stroke of luck — selected for what they are and what they might become.
Nothing here was made to sit in a warehouse. Most of it is one of a kind, or close enough to count. The work sits at the edge of functional and decorative — made to be used and to earn its place in a room. A bowl that belongs on the counter. A vessel that doesn’t need an explanation. The kind of thing that moves with you from place to place and gets better with time.
Growing up, “just buy another one” wasn’t really on the table. You made what you needed, in the color you actually wanted, built to do the specific thing you needed it to do. You repaired instead of replaced. If something had a crack, you turned it around. If it was worn, you worked with it — and somewhere in that process it became more yours, not less.
That sensibility is in everything made here. Not precious, not perfect, but just has that thing.
