Hand-pressed from white stoneware and finished in a soft, creamy glaze, each low bowl carries subtle movement through the surface and edge. The form sits between a shallow bowl and a salad plate, with a gently sloped interior and low profile designed for both serving and everyday use. A quiet wave moves through the rim, while a radiating sunburst pattern catches light across the surface.
Inspired in part by antique oil lamp reflectors, the proportions feel familiar yet quietly unusual — a functional table piece that also reads as a small object of presence.
Bowls are sold individually to allow for building a set over time or mixing into an existing table. Each piece is shaped, carved, and glazed by hand; variation in size, form, and surface is expected and considered part of the character of the work.
