A touch of the past, pressed into the present. These plates might be my favorite - I found a serving piece in cabinet and for the first time really noticed the embossed fruit design. I pressed the plates into dark umbria clay and decided to finish them in a simple white glaze to show off the design. These are the first of 4 of what will be many many more. Finished in an earthy, matte glaze that settles into the design, these plates feel as if they were unearthed from an old-world farmhouse—imperfect, storied, and endlessly useful.
Perfect for small bites, desserts, or simply as an accent on the table. No two are exactly alike.
